hi there people, i hope every one had a good christmass and a safe new year eve night,

right here's my question--hopefully some one out there in pt land can help me,
i was looking at my 2003 clasic gear knob whille waiting for my good lady to come back from the shop she had just poped into and i was wondering if Chrysler had modeled there whight gear stick knob on the ol whight (( HURST )) gear knob from the hot rod days of the 50's and 60's

i know hurst still make gear stick knobs in whight and silver T-BAR'S to this day but i could not stop thinking may be as the pt cruiser kinda look's like a 60'retro hotrod maybe thay put this item into to help with the look...

i mean i don't mind i love the look my self but i was just wondering if some one out there could clear this up for me and tell me the reason behind it .....

I assume you have a manual, because in '03 the auto shifter looks like "ET".

I am sure the "cue ball" was picked for it's historical look.

no mine's a auto, the whight ball with a silver knob on top witch you have to push down to get to drive, and the tricktronic gear left and right gear's
