Default Customer service phone # in America???

not India?????????????
Anyone know it? I call 800-992-1997

gah

in 2007 I spoke with customer service and I could have sworn I was speaking with someone in America.

I called today and was stuck with someone in India who I asked to be transferred to America. Then another Indian guy answered and said he was in Utah.

the guy refused to admit he wasn't in America and said he was the only person who could help me.

YEAH RIGHT
so I called back and asked where the person was located and he said India. So I asked for him to transfer me to America so he put me on hold and then it said "Sorry we can not complete your call at this time" and it hung up on me.

So here's my 4th call and they are transferring me to America. Let's see how this goes.

I want my tax dollars back!

That is a crying shame. Some companies are learning that service is valuable part of customer retention.

Example: Costo Wholesale Club provides american based "Costco Consierge Service" 1-886-861-0450 for HP computer systems purchased at their stores. I have used it. It is great. It is avaialbe 24/7/365. I have heard that they also offer this for other products--rumor only!

Now as a former Service Manager for a Chrysler Store--I remember the day Chrylser closed the Warranty Help Line for dealerships--5 of greatest ladies I ever worked with were relocated(?) and the warranty administrators were left on the very short end of very long telephone line.

I was really up set then and now I am just blown away. What arrogrance? What stupidy? What GREED!

so the 4th attempt made it to America.

The lady told me I need to take my car to either the original dealer I bought it from or the one that has been servicing it.

The Service manager should look at my service records and determine if he should contact the District Manager regarding my car's unbelievable service problems.

I just want some accountability from someone that the amount of repairs made on my car have been premature and out of the ordinary.

They at least need to fix my electrical problems and try to look into if something else is wrong with the car.

oh yeah, I asked the lady why they wouldn't transfer me and she said that they SHOULD transfer if you ask, but it's their job to try and help you.

Yeah, okay. Some dood in India who can't even correctly pronounce 'Radiator' and 'Rack and Pinion' is going to tell me that I should give up on my car b/c it doesn't qualify for the lemon law.

Well NO SHI&*&* sherlock, but that doesn't mean that Chrysler should take a hard look at this car's overall problems.
