Does anyone else have leaky wiper sprayers?

I have a 2005 PT Cruiser since it was new and my front windshield wiper sprayers have always leaked...The dealer first said it is normal due to the hot weather we have (phoenix, Az)yet still replaced both sprayers. I am afraid this is going to damage the paint on the hood... Last week I had the car in again for numerous repairs including the wiper sprayers still leaking and the dealer said the problem could not be duplicated....even though there is a trail mark down the front of the hood from both sprayers... Has anyone heard of a fix for this??

Had mine fixed under warranty and have been fine since (2yrs).

My 2005 also had that problem. I havent seen it on my 2004.

I am beginning to think everyone at the Mexico plant was drunk in 2005--I had so many more problems with my 2005. The 2004 has been pretty trouble-free.

yeah. my '05 GT(bought new at Bill Luke in Phoenix)leaked from day one. They ordered the new style ones for me, but after 6 months, they still hadn't arrived. Never got 'em. I just let the washer tank get lower than 1/2 and left it. Better than always wiping blue streaks off the hood.

How in the world can a Dealer without laughing call any kind of leak normal. Strange people at dealerships Andy

i havent had that problem but others that have have went to the after market sprayers and they seem to work way better

just read that chrysler is 'aware' of the problem and the dealer should replace it for you. whether or not it is available though . . .

Yea...I had this problem...mine leaked and then stopped spraying. I also fixed it....see here:

Pilot Windshield Nozzles???
