I got a hold of vBulletin which is what is at the bottom of the page and says "powered by". I gave them all the information and got this in reply:

We don't host the forums. We only provide the software.

In these situations the site may be taken down by the host if the owner doesn't pay for their hosting costs. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do since the site is not in your name.

So if we could figure out who the host is, maybe get some more information. If it's like THS said and it's paid for by TREMEK, maybe we're good to go forever.

That's great Tinker. Neon (Skylight) is the person I've been corresponding with until he stopped showing up in the forum last September. I received a package from him on Xmas of 07 and it was form Singapore. So it looks like we're good to go until 3 Jan 2010. I'll shoot him an email to see if he responds. Might even give him a call if my rates aren't too bad.

Just found out its $.15 a minute so I might give him a call.

All,

I've been talking to one of the moderators of another site Neon owns and he received a message from Neon. It seems everything is OK and he's just been really busy and has started up another new site (not car related) and he says he would never sell any of his sites even if they weren't making money. Hopefully he will come back here and tell me/us the same thing.

Am having trouble with a couple of spammers on this site. I PM'd Neon just for the heck of it telling him about the problem and I was very surprised to receive an email back 2 days ago saying he was going away for a few days and would look into my problem when he gets back. That was the first time I've had anything from in in a few months.

We are dealing with the same problem regarding spammers.
As for skylight, Everyone has been Emailing Etc. Still no go.

I can keep up it but it seems 3 of them have done something that won't let me ban their username from the forum. I can delete what they post but I can't make the infraction notice (20 points) stick, so they just keep coming back.
