Default Thinking of getting anti-theft device...

...seen this on speedvision tv, they claim no thefts with this device. Anyone have one of these installed on a PT? After market anti theft device that has never been beat when installed correctly. Not one vehivle ever stolen.

looks pretty nice i wonder if that is true about the nothing stolen since 1976---pretty bold statement but if it is true then WOW

You do know that the PT cannot be started without the key because it contains a chip that is needed to keep the car running. It is impossible to hot wire and keep the engine running for more than a few seconds without the chip. Save your money.

Depending on what year model you have - most have a pretty good system already, why add another? If you are in a very high crime-rate area, add the club on the wheel - break-ins are a much higher worry, just don't leave anything visible to tempt some a**hole to bust your window to get it.

I had a '95 Chevy Blazer that had something like that, I wound up over-riding it and adding a remote lock/alarm to it. All my vehicle since have it built in.
