Default Need your help for court!

Hi guys,

I call on everyone here who hasn't modified their PT's front.

I need pictures of the front from Classic PTs and from Turbo PTs, preferably without plates. (Models between 2003 and 2006)

You can either post a link or your photo here, or send me a PM or email.

For those of you wondering what this is about, read it here.

Thanks for your help!

PS: I had something like this in mind (without the arrow):

Hey bertone,

Here is mine...2003 PT Dream Cruiser Series 2. Has the same bumper as the GT.

Just keep in mind, as previously mentioned, your primary complaint was that you had some fitment problems arise as the result of your Body Shop having used an aftermarket Reproduction Bumper Cover.

From what you stated, the Body Shop did contact you and ask if you would like to authorize them to use the Aftermarket Part, and you agreed to it. As far as I can tell, their is no current Aftermarket Replacement for your original Bumper Cover, so the Body Shop upgraded to the GT Cover as you agreed as this is the only Aftermarket Replacement Option available.

Also you had mentioned that had you known about the fitment issues commonly associated with Aftermarket Parts, you might have payed the additional cost to have upgraded to the OEM Parts instead which would indicate the Body Shop likely had explained that by using the Aftermarket Part, they were trying to keep the cost down for you since you were paying for the repair work out of pocket.

I completely understand how you feel given the finished product, but from what I understand, the Body Shop did discuss everything with you, and gave you your options in advance. In the end, it was your decision by giving them the authorization to use the Aftermarket Parts after they went over, and explained everything to you, that led to the unfortunate outcome.

I wish you the very best, and just want to help make extra sure you have thought everything through very carefully! I do not know all of the details in regards to how everything went down, but based on the little I do know, I am having trouble from an outside perspective seeing where the Body Shop did not first consult with you, help weigh your options, or proceed forward without your explicate consent, and cannot come up with a good manner in which to push the blame on them in a Court. Honestly I sincerely hope I am wrong, and you have a good strategy to provide a positive outcome, and my soul concern is to help out a fellow Cruiser in need wherever I can!

And on that note, here is the front of my Ride:

Go easy, and again, I wish you all the best!
