Can anyone tell me how to replace the radio antenna (on the roof) on my PT Cruiser. I took the car to the car wash and it broke the antenna. (Senior Moment on my part)
All that is left is the cup glued to the roof above the back door. My husband tried to install it but can't find access to it from inside the car. Thanks.

No, my PT Cruiser is UK specs so the radio antenna is located at the rear of the roof above the rear windshield.

Gigie,
We have a few members here from the UK and Europe. Maybe one of them will see this thread and help you out. As hooligan just said, our antenna is on the right front fender so even our manuals don't mention anything about the roof antenna.

Thank you all for your replies
My hubby couldn't pope the buttons for the roof liner. How do you do it? Sorry for being so thick but don't want to damage the car.

The headliner "buttons" will probly break removing them, they are just plastic. There is a two prong tool they use at the dealer for removing the rivets, I image you could probably improvise with something else. Just wrap a towel or rag around whatever you use as to not damage or dirty the headliner. It will take some force to get the rivets to pop loose.

Thanks for the info raerae77
I am going to take it to the mechanic on the base next week. He said, he could do it. Fingers crossed
