Default help i found a vacuum hose off.

I have 2005 pt non turbo automatic. The check engine light came on and wouldnt idle. i found a vacuum line from the intake laying on the exhaust manifold. Chrysler said they can get me the hose assy. but cant tell me where the other end went. does anyone have a clue where it hooked to? thank you.

Welcome.
Take the line and reach it around and look for a nipple missing a hose within it's reach.

i did try to check the range of where the hose could reach. but i think alot had melted off. i know on a cruise control car this hose would go to it( i dont have cruise). and on a stick car it was capped off. i even talked to the head service manager at chrysler and he told me he didnt know.

On the bottom right side of the engine you have an EGR valve with a vacuum hose. see if that valve still has the hose attached.
