Last week on my way home from work, I actually saw a Chevy Astro van driving down the road with it's rear roll pan not more than one or two inches off the payment, it it was that far. He had just come out of a business onto city streets. The drive has a steep, but short, entrance so I'm sure he must of drug it pretty good. I can kind of see why someone might like the looks of it when sitting still but can't figure out why anyone would want to drive one that low. Seems like it would be instant invitation to tear body panels off quickly.

The air bags are great because if you get the Easy Street kit you can actually lift the car higher than stock!! here is a link to their site if anyone is interested. 01-07 PT Cruiser Combo Kit - 85749

Hey Everyone,
Yep, air ride is nice, but too expensive for me! I'll stick to my trusty old school custom springs! I know I have hit on this subject like a million times already, but for you new guys, that is a one off custom set of springs I had a friend make and provides a full 3" of drop up front, and 5" in the back giving it an overall ride height of 4" on all four corners, and 3 1/2 under the front and back bumpers. This is lower than any Aftermarket Kit on the market anywhere! Sure she is bouncy, touches on driveways unless I am extremely careful, and take them at an angle, and she really, really don't like speed bumps, but after a short while you get used to knowing where you can, and can't make it, and learn to go around obstacles. Once you get used to it, having it dropped is no biggie, and I just love the stance! ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyways here is my ride: ![]() Go easy, and I will catch ya later! PS: Hey Chix, Wazzup? Long time no see Girl! Candyman
