Window problems

Passanger window does not operate. I hear a crunching noise when trying to get the window up. I think there is a problem with the window track guide. Is there a tech. article and parts needed to fix this problem?

pop the inside door panel off and take a look, there are a couple of screws to take out in the handle and latch, maybe on a edge. Use a stiff putty knife or screw driver to pry the panel off. peal the plastic dust cover open and look inside to see what's up, work the window. probably a loose track, re-aline and tighten. or a roller some how jumped the track.

it is posible the motor/gear is stripped but not likely unless you live in cold wx and roll window down with ice.

check it out your self first, but mechanics have to eat too. if you end up needing a new motor/gear , let me know, I have parts as I am converting mine into a panelvan and have rear door windows/parts. motor is the same I bet. cheers, wayne
