A/C Issue - Solution with Your Help!

Hello Everyone.

I have had my 06 TE (bright blue!) since august of last year and have lurked here just reading up on the car.

I've put close to 8,000 miles on my car, up to 43000, and had my first issue.
I live in Arizona and its already hitting high 80's on some days and my A/C wasn't blowing cold!

Needless to say, I used previous posts to find as much info out about the A/C problems others have had and it helped a lot.

I test the LPS like was recommended in a different post along with the rad fan and A/C pressure.

When i bypassed the LPS (with a paperclip) the compressor kicked on.
I took it to my local shop, told them everything I checked and they fixed it in under 2hrs, for under $300!

I just wanted to post and say thank you thank you thank you to everyone who has asked or answered a question in the past!

Glad you got it fixed Eric. I wish more people would do a little searching on our archives and past posts to find some answers as most problems that pop up have been diagnosed and suggestions given for a solution. Hope yours continue to work well.

Wish mine repair was as cheap it cost me $750 for a new fan assembly. The one on the back of the radiator in the engine bay
