Unhappy 2007 GT - Rough idle & Stall

I've been having an idle issue for a while now. It fluctuates between 400 & 800 RPMs and stalled out on me the other day when I was pulling into my garage. Causes my lights to dim (VERY annoying at night) and once I even lost brakes momentarily and my car lurched forward. Good thing I don't pull right up on people at stop lights.

No engine codes. Throttle position sensor, spark plugs, plug wires replaced. Vacuum leak fixed. PCM was flashed twice by the dealership. My wife just got the car from them after the latest flash today and called me to let me know it's still not fixed. This time she had the digi cam handy and took a short video clip for me. When I get home I'll chop and re-encode it and post a link to it.

35,300 miles. No engine mods. Just had an oil change and replaced the air filter. I use premium fuel just like I'm supposed to.

I'm stumped, and I assume the dealership is too. I've googled and other people have mentioned similar issues, but no solutions. 2 dealerships, 4 visits, going in for its 5th soon.

I'm open to any input anyone has on the matter. I want it fixed. If it starts stalling at stoplights I'm gonna be a little annoyed.

I take it you have a Turbo since your using Premium fuel. Do you have an IAC (Idle Air Controller) on the back of your Throttle Body? It controls the Idle (along with other sensors) and has fixed idle problems with other owners. It comes off easy and supposedly you can clean it or just replace it.

There have been several with symptoms like yours that ended up being intake gasket leaks. The test is to spray wd-40 along the intake seam while it's acting up, and if it smooths out, that's the problem.

I'll give those both a try when I get it back tonight. My wife took it back to the dealership again last night. They kept it over night. They're replacing the throttle body today.

Assuming that doesn't fix it, which at this point I don't have a lot of faith, I'll check the IAC (hope they check that when they do the throttle body) and I'll check for a gasket leak.

I like the car, but man does this thing frustrate me. My 98 sunfire had less garage time for repairs and it was at 200k miles. My wife's alero has only had to have an O2 sensor, and that was at 100k. But then again I do seem to attract bad luck.

Throttle body had a hole in it. They replaced it. Still didn't fix it. It darn near stalled when I turned the headlights on.

Haven't checked the gasket, but it's not the IAC or Throttle Body. Le sigh. I'm gonna call Chrysler, bitch at them, and tell them I want them to extend it to the 100,000 mile warranty.
