Wink New pics on my HID Headlights

Best idea for a modification was these headlights cuz 1. no more flickering with the 50watt ballasts and 2. much brighter than the silverstars.

They sure look good, just a thought, does it blind the bloke comming in the other direction? They sure light up the roadway. Andy

Yes they do. I don't like them and wish they'd outlaw them.

actually these headlights passed the traffic law so for my headlights, they are legal for me to have because they do not go above anyones bumper 20ft away.
Some people say that when you install the HID headlights that they dont stay in a beam form and they just stray everywhere. but it depends on which way you put them in. hard to explain but you have to play with the bulb and make sure it looks the same as your previous headlights looked like. and they are only 8000k's

Cathy06PT, they look bright yes, their supposed to, but to other drivers they just look like standard xenon's you would find on the new luxury vehicles. like the BMW X5. but, they do not reach other peoples eyesight while driving already tested this by my sister driving the other direction an she just saw the blueness of the 8000k headlights. no rightness from them whatsoever. so in my thoughts, these headlights are worth every penny for what u pay for them and i would recommend them to anyone who has a PT.

Thumbs up Re: New pics on my HID Headlights

I love my HIDS on my PT I got the 10K ones. I pisses a lot of people off the first few night because I had installed lowering springs in the back. And did not adjust the headlights . I know there bright and all but I live in New Mexico so you see primerd buckets on the road with one headlight facing up and the other almost straight down,4X4 trucks hella high in the air, etc.

eh, the 10000k's are just a deeper blue, i didnt want that so im thinkin bout goin to the 6000k when these burn out because they are brighter than the 8000k so ive seen on another PT.
