2007 Sedan and all 4 windows quit. Had intermittent problems before, but now they quit for good. Switch in the rear wont work rear windows either. I bought a replacement switch for the dash (used) and that didnt fix the problem. Please help as I cant roll up my windows and it is pretty cold in the morning when I have to drop the kids off then go to work...plus I cant lock my car and I dont live in the best neighborhood.
I have checked all the fuses under the hood because I dont have a manual to know which is for the windows, so that appears to not be the problem. Am I missing finding a relay or is it integrated with the switch? |

Thanks for the reply. The box says to refer to the owners manual for reference to which fuse controls what. I bout the car used and dont have the manual but I did find one online. Not much help though, I cant find a listing for the power windows...I am going crazy...

So I bought a sub to alldatadiy.com for my 2007 and the information says that I shold have a fuse box in the drivers compartment on the left side under and to the left of the steering column. I do not have one there.
Does anyone have an idea on this? |

The fuse box your looking for only came in the 01-05 cruisers. As QSD stated, they changed things around in 06 doing away with the interior fuse box and changing the under hood fuse box quite a bit.
For anyone with an 06 or newer PT: Here's your new fuse box under the hood: ![]() ...and here's the list of what they cover: ![]() ![]() ![]() The only problem is that the fuses and relays aren't numbered. Maybe that's under the top of the cover which I don't have.

Yea, in the 01-05 cruisers,, the interior fuse box has a silver relay on the top left side marked "C/S 20A P/WDO" but I don't see anything like that in your fuse box.

Thanks Ernie. We still don't know if there's a separate fuse or relay for the windows.

From what I have found, there is a circuit breaker under the dash but I cant find the darn thing. I did find a connector that was just hanging around and I hope it didnt come loose when I was poking around blindly under there.
here are the reference pictures I have... I didnt know how to insert them so I attached ok I could only get them that good Last edited by BrotherKasey; 29 Mar 2009 at 04:50 pm. Reason: better pictures |
