Default PT lights on?

Last night when my wife went out to her '07 Cruiser in the parking of the hotel we were hosting our annual antique radio conference she found the head lights and interior lights on.
I nad been out to my car that war next to her's earlier and the lights were not on then.
Is there some reason the the lights might turn on?
Could another PT keyless entry trigger her lights?

Do a search on "multi function switch" and read ALL about it.
