My brake light bulb is out?

Can someone tell me how to change it?
Do I take off the taillight? Cand see a way in thru the back.

Sandy, I haven't ever changed one, but there is a screw in the hole near the bottom, I believe that is the way to remove the lens.

Hooligan is right about the removal, once you remove the light look on the back and you will see 2 plugs, just turn the one that is burned out and lift then replace the bulb. Or you can take it to a parts store like AutoZone, Advance or O Riley auto parts and they will do it for you, "FOR FREE" you just buy the bulb from them.

yea I saw that, I will check it out tonight and go buy the bulbs cant see any other way to do it.

You may have to use some liquid wrench on the threads if the screw doesn't come out easily. It screws into a clip on the bodywork and can get cruddy. A torx works best If you use a flat blade watch your paint. They tend to slip out of the groove.

The correct bulb listings are in your owners manual,

and just take a flat or phillips screwdriver either will work even though its a torx bit. Tail light pops out becareful of the clips.

Take socket twist it and it will come out. Unclip the elephant ears, bulb will slip off then insert new bulb.

reverse rest of process. then do the other side
