Oh...you put a system in it? You definitely got something wrong with the electrical system then. Either you system is pulling too much from the battery causing the alternator to struggle keeping it charged...therefore you car dies...and when the alternator catches up and charges the batter again..you car resumes running. OR You have a bad ground somewhere causing your alternator to freak out. Check all that and also...buy a capacitor.

hi, thanks for the comment.
here what I got to fix the gear issue: the solenoid pack been changed, (replaced with a MOPAR new spare part) I been told there is something wrong with the electricity, the generator been monitored during the repair process and worked fine, probably I got mess when I ride and the system overload the consumption of battery and the generator cant feed enough power ...... I will install a capacitor I will keep posted my findings... regards |

You definitely have a wire shortage problem somewhere.
I wouldn't say it is because of your stereo. We have a member in our club with 3 TV's and 1000watt amp, no capacitor, car runs fine. Wiring was done correctly however. If you crossed something during your install, you will get all sorts of problems. Bad ground would result in a thumping sound like bass hitting, but not while music is playing a bass tone. That is the feed back of a bad ground. If you installed a new electric pack, are you talking about your cable pack under the intake plenum? The pack under the intake plenum works only for the firing of the ignition coils and is typically referred to as the ignition coil pack. What is your stereo output? To me it sounds like your starter wires are loose somewhere causing the shortage and the cutting in and out of the engine. If altenator was bad, you wouldn't get engine to turn over at all in most cases. Alternators don't recharge themselves and once burned up are no good. If you battery is bad or low, the end will start slow and feel sluggish while driving.

Hi all, well after several and deep revision of all the electric lines and doing isolation of some, better grounding of the system, and made a change for a cal #4 wire for my system, the aplifier is not getting high temp, installed a 1.65f capacitor just to prevent... so, seems like the car is doing fine, thank you all for your kindness help here.
now the next issue is the gass consumtion... but that is other story.. regards |
