Hi, I have a 2003 non turbo sedan pt cruiser, I have to change the battery to a new one, when I do that on my other car, I start it, with the car working, I disconnect the battery in order to check if the alternator is charging properly, so the car keeps running with the battery unplugged.
On the Pt Cruiser, it didnīt happend. When I disconnect the battery , the car go off. Is this normal ?, or the alternator is failing?. Thanks. |

You cant do that type of test on any newer car. You may have just fried your alt.
