HI, I just bought my used 2007 PT Cruiser.. I love it so far!! I was wondering if the steering wheel is bigger then most other cars.. I bought a Steering wheel cover at KMart today. And it doesn't fit.. Also I keep hearing about protecting the dash board. Where to you go to buy the dash board covers. Thanks

Congrats on your purchase Lisa.

If you buy on-line, here's one place that sells covers for the newer PT's:

Speedy Car Parts - Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - Dash Cover - Coverking 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser

It's a little expensive so if you want to go cheaper just get a sunshade for the front window.

As far as the steering wheel, it doesn't seem any bigger than most but I guess there are so many cars then there are quite possibly different size steering wheels.

Thanks for your help! I will probably start with a sunshade, till I can for the other.. As for the steering wheel. Seems a little bigger then standard, But I will continue to shop around, and hope to find a steering wheel cover that fits.. Thanks again! Lisa

I thought the wheel was a tad smaller than other's... Those covers are intended to stretch over the wheel to fit tight enough to not slip - that wouldn't be good.

I'm on two sites (the other one for my Miata), and find people are very helpful with any problems and have good suggestions. Welcome...
