Question Buying my 1st PT.....Any advice???
New to the forum and buying my 1st PT.....Any advice??? Anything in particular that is known to fail? Particular year, recalls, Trans. issues, sensors, engine, etc...
Don't know what year or trim level but I'll be spending in the $4K-5K range so it'll probably end up with miles on her (80K - 110K).

Welcome 66 cuda. There has been a couple of people who have just asked that same question. Do a search and if your specific question aren't answered come back and we'll try to answer them.

I have on 06 with 40K miles and it's only worth about 7K. PT's will drop in value faster than 747 from the sky. So don't buy NEW!! But for a used car buyer, you can get a great car cheap. Keep looking, don't settle for a PT with 80K plus miles.
