Okay after seeing Duster's vector PT Logo I decided to get back into doing my own vector.

Lets see if anyone can name the cruiser haha

That's really good, do you use the pen tool or in AI do they automatically vectorized... I used to do Vectors in PSCS3 with pen tool, took a lot of time and patience.

Red face Re: PT Vector!

Hey Guys,

I recon that is pretty cool. To be honest, as embarrassing as this is, I have no real clue what Vectoring is. I tried to read up on it a bit and pretty much came away a bit more confused than when I started I think.

From what I gather it is a kind of mathematical formulation which can better enhance the resolution of an image to very high resolution I think, but have no clue how, or what the difference would be overall in a pic, or is it more normal to vector parts of an image like above? Was just kind of more or less curious.

Go easy,

Candyman

Go easy,

Candyman

Your on the right track, Its more solid colors then a normal picture (jpeg, jpg, bmp, and many others) so you can blow it up as big as you want without to much blurriness.

Sorry haven't updated this in awhile but I pretty much decided to restart the vector in a more simplified form. I am currently using the vector for the next Stanton Car Show flier.
