2006 license bracket on 2001

Can a front license bracket for a 2006 fit on the 2001. If not directly, can simple mods be made to make it fit?

I can't see why not. It's just a matter of the bumper curvature. And since it's just plastic, it could be ground to fit tight.
(Don't buy one; there are plenty of us who took it off and repaired the bumper that would send you one.)

The best thing about front license plate brackets are buying your PT and seeing them preinstalled by the dealer with a dealer plate.

Thing is though, Georgia doesn't require a front plate so rather than let the dealer get his free advertising I put a Braves plate on the front.

Thought about taking it off until I saw the 6 holes they had drilled through the bumper.

I bought a brand new OEM one 2 weeks ago on ebay for $8.00 + $2.95 shipping from an over stocked dealer who lost his franchise.
It was brand new in the factory sealer package with all the screws.

I saw that ebay add. That is why i asked if they could be used on at 2001.

As far as I know it will fit. Some brackets are listed as 2001 - 2009
