My first car was a 1961 Morris minor I got it when I was 14 rebuilt it from top to bottom I loved that car had it for a few years then moved. Always had a soft spot for old cars but wished they had some new car quality such as reliability and comfort and the PT cruiser fit the bill for me.

Hey Everyone,
Well, my transmission had given out in my Plymouth Voyager so I needed a new replacement for my Wife to drive. I was out walking over the car lots seeing if anything caught my eye, and stumbled across my PT, and thought it looked pretty cool! I have always been a huge fan of the "WOW" factor on all of my vehicles, and usually wind up tearing things apart and redoing everything to make it cool which usually drives my Wife nuts. With that said, I took my Wife with me to see my PT, and remember my little sales pitch that this time, the car already has cool paint, interior, and all the rest of the cool stuff a guy could ever want, and so I don't need to do anything other than drive it, and enjoy it....I promise! ![]() I did have to give a fair fight for her though. I had a very limited budget but wanted my ultra cool PT. I sat out their at Chrysler for a hair under 16 hours wearing down the staff! At one point they were going to get me into another N/A, and I was all...nope...I want that Tangerine Dream period, and sure enough, eventually I had the keys in hand, and the rest is in Candyman history. The same time I bought my Ride, I had just decided to finally purchase my first computer and one night while surfing around the net looking for parts and stuff, I stumbled across one of the bigger PT Sites at the time and before you knew it I was big time having a blast making so many life long friends, and so on, and have been hooked ever since! I would have neer guessed in a million years their would be such a cool following from such a huge crowd of people that also digs on the PT, nor would i have ever imagined that I would have, and continue to have such a great time, all thanks to such a great little car! SO that is why I love mine anyhow. My only problem these days is my Wife don't buy it when I tell her I promise not to touch my Rides anymore. Dang Mod Bug anyways! ![]() ![]() GO easy, and cool post! Keep the stories coming! Candyman
