Here's a copy of a Mobile1 rebate. Also, I understand that Advanced has the $30 deal for 5-quarts and a filter again.

Thanks I'll use it. As far as Advanced goes, Mobil 1 is usually on sale at Wal-Mart for about $20-25 (5 Qts) depending on which grade you use. Advanced "might" have a deal IF your not talking FRAM filters because FRAM is a very cheap filter to buy. Wal-Mart Mobil 1 and a FRAM filter would be less than the $30 at Advanced. Now if it's a good filter that runs about $10+ then Advanced would be a good deal.

Last time I bought the deal it included a $12 Mobile1 filter - bought it for our Miata - will get on for the Cruiser.

In fact, I just got back from Advance Discount Auto Parts and picked up 5 qts of 5W30 and a Mobil 1 filter M1-102 and will sending in the receipt tomorrow for my $10 rebate.

It is small Don, but I printed it out and sent it in with the original receipt when I got that $30 deal at Advanced Auto the day after this thread started. Still waiting for my check.

Our pt has always had Mobil 1 syn and Mobil 1 filter since I bought it with 30,000 miles.

Advanced fuel economy??? I am not to sure about that. I know a lot of oil was just recalled and it was all that high mileage crap. I am not sure who the maker was but I would never run high mileage junk in anything I own. Heck my Intrepid has over 106,000 miles and I still run just regular Mobil 1 5000. This last change was the first for anything synthetic run in the Intrepid and thats because it was $2.00 more.
