Default Rims and Tires...

Summer time is approaching and my PT is looking for some new awesome rims with tires! i have a 2007 touring edition and i have the aluminum painted 16 inch rims looking for some 18's. i do want chrome rims but i do not want to break the bank...i asked me friend that has a PT and has rims how expensive hers was and she was like $2,000! i cant afford that...haha. the rims that im looking for are the ones that come standard on the 2009 PT. if you go to chryslers website..and click on PT...a red PT should pop up with chrome kind of "spoked" rims. thats what i want...and also..what tires to get? they would only be on for summer..and i dont want anything to fancy.

thanks!!!

If you come down a little (17 inch) here's good deal at $820 with shipping. Figure at least $100-150 per tire.

Stay away from the dealer part counters, outrageous prices for wheels. You will do much better looking at here, PTE, PTcrew, or craigslist, ebay for OEM wheels. People take them off all the time and sell stockers pretty cheap.

I would stay at a 17inch wheel, tires choices are cheaper and plentiful, harder to bend wheels.

My personal thanks to veteran and novice crewbies that have offered information and how-to's they have been instrumental in taking LiquidPT from modded car to stock to live a more quiet and sedate life.
