Re: What's the best MPG can the PT Cruiser get?
2008 LX owned since 1800 miles (now at 13,000) and consistently reach 20-21 mpg. I have gone as high as 23 in the city, but that is feathering the accelerator, air is not on and no crosswind.
On the intersate, 28 MPG on flatland, 70 mph. That happened one time and ever since, IO average 24-26 mpg. I have noticed that if I use Exxon gasonline, I can reach 2 mpg better in the city and 4 mpg better on the interstate than with Shell. This was also true for my wife's Nissan Xterra.
