well if my mileage thing is wrong than the odometer is wrong, cuz i keep record of that too and what shows up on mileage between fill ups is also on the odometer. so my guess is that it is accurate. but i did some calculations on the tests i ran in the city and on the highway. ( City test- Mileage 397, Gallons 13.112, MPG- 30.277..... ) ( highway test Mileage 473, Gallons at fill up- 12.983, MPG- 36.432..... ) those are the tests i ran average between city and Highway are between 32-34 so i see that those are pretty Accurate in my book so its whatever. next move is to get a 5spd transmission see what happens there. if it can fit in the cruiser.

yes Mopar man, i have an automatic and a manual, the auto is the one im talking about, the Manual trans one is well gets no where near that. gets like 10MPG city and 15 Highway because of the weight. weighs almost 9000 lbs because of all the storm chasing equipment on it.

I believe I am getting about the average from what I have seen around the internet.
Getting about 22mpg with 80% of that highway miles in an auto. I do have a bit of a lead foot while merging. This is not the car for mileage, I was hitting 25mpg for a while when it was all highway with the air off and maintaining 65mph. Too hot out here to leave the air off for long. |

Wow. Those are the highest numbers I've EVER seen for an auto PT. Those are even high for a manual car.

well i needed the standard trans for storm chasing for more control of the car in muddy situations but i had to sacrifice MPG to do so but its cool. has a 15 gal tank instead of 13 so total the standard trans pt get about 225 miles but thats good for a 4cyl weighing 9000lbs of storm chasing equipment lol.
