Can you please explain how to do this test? Thanks!

I used a DRBIII the first time. A friend of mine still works at a dealership and I went up there during non business hours.
The second time I used a Solus from snap on. Both operate in the same manner. The test is in the transmission menu of either device. Once in that menu scroll to diagnostic tests, and somewhere in that menu it will read solenoid actuation test ( or something to that affect). Select run or go and listen for the solenoids to fire/click. The Solus went into more detail than the DRBIII. Either way you will need some sort of advanced scan tool for the test. The cheaper code readers tend not to go into this much detail. Hope this helps. |
