Question The Missing Link

OK, the other night when I joined up and spent hours going through posts and checking on links. I came across two that I was interested in. I KNOW I bookmarked them, but when I came back to look for them I only have one. I even checked my history and can't find it.

Anyway it was a couple of sites for lettering/emblems. One was PTEdition for the flat "Edition" type logos, but the other one was a site that had the 3D chrome lettering (It was getting late, maybe I was dreaming??) Anyone know the site I'm talking about?? I don't remember if it was a link from the forum or a link off a site I went to.

The flat edition can be found at StreamlineDesign - Get Graphic With Us! I used to know the 3D place (maybe not the one you were looking at) but it's not in business anymore.

I just did a Google search for "3d molded lettering" and there's quite a few, too many to list here. If you want the letter to look just like it came on the PT the font name your looking for is "Downtown".

Streamline is the one I have, but I can't find the other one. SH*@**#

I really like how CREWZIN EDITION turned out..... I WANT!!!!

Any ideas where to get the "Downtown" font? I searched a couple of font sites and the downtown they have doesn't look anything like the PT fonts

I'm using the Downtown font with a 200% letter width value as a "Cruiser" replacement font.

It's the best you can get.

Cool... just downloaded it off a 5 year old webpage and put it into my CAD program here at work just to see what it would look like.

Doesn't look too bad... I could probably get the slant right just have to spend a little time on it without getting caught by the boss LOL....

Then I could cut something out on the waterjet similar to how I did this.

Streamline design will do anything you want. I tried it before I went with the 3D lettering.

Good place to deal with. Lots of owners have ordered parts from them. I probably did at one time or another.
