That's an interesting idea but not especially good if the seats are adjusted different front to back.

Very cool! With that, my husband and I don't have to try to share the single skinny one, like the driver moves their elbow foward and the passenger takes the back part. But if you don't know the driver very well, you can't share the arm rest, it is a bit too invasive of one's personal space.

You may have the anti-rattle clip in wrong.....

well, then my mechanic got it wrong because i dont mess with anything like that. i just change the headlights, oil, and oil filter. anything else i let my mechanic handle it.

Well, whoever handled it, it's metal, it will scrape the rotor if not placed the right way and it can be put in wrong. How the heck did you spend $300 repairing it? Was it on labor or replacing rotors?

Another thing, the anti-rattle clip might not be your culprit, but it sure fits your description of what's wrong.

labor counts for $200 of it but the other $100 is for replacements, what brakes do you recommend? duralast or anything better than duralast? i have brembo Brakes on the PT i use for storm chasing but it's not worth putting those on because there is a lot less weight on this one and no need for high performance brakes. at least that's what i think. but for brakes i can just go into a store and get like autozone, pepboys or someplace like that what are the best brakes they offer?

$200 for labor? I hope that's for all 4 corners. As for Duralast, it's junk, plain and simple. Looks for a quality pad/shoe from Raybestos or Wagner for the average daily driver.

$200 labor in a period of like 3-4 months. not all at once. duralast is crap? i heard good things about it, but i'm thinking about the Prostop Ceramic Brake Pads from pepboys. they look good, but if i replace the pads i have to replace the calipers right?

Negative on the caliper change. It's advised to have the rotors and drums turned before putting on new pads and shoes though. The exception would be if you just had them turned not long ago.
