Now im in the Club (My first PT)

Hey their LawChick,

Congrats on the new PT, and welcome to the Family! I am glad to hear everything worked out, and your getting your mechanic to take care of that rust issue. It may, or may not have been much of an issue, but I used to own and operate a full service Detail Center specializing in working one on one with large Automotive Dealerships, and have seen first hand, many a Dealer kinda do a quickie repair, or try to cover things over, and am just kinda iffy on having them do that kind of stuff.

I still will either flash my lights, or wave on occasion. The funny thing on mine though, i can be parked as usual all the way at the end of a parking lot to avoid any dings and almost always if their is another PT around, its usually parked next to me.keeping my baby company. I also get a lot of random moterists waving, or giving a thumbs up, and the funniest , and coolest thing I get pretty much every single time I take my PT out for a Cruise, or to the gas station, and so on, at least one person will always come up and ask me something about my ride, or comment on her which is just so way cool to have random people come up and appreciate your ride like that! Now just you wait till the old "Mod Bug" bites ya! Then you will be sucked into the madness like the rest of us PT Addicts for which their is no known cure!

I love this forum so I plan on making a stop here atleast a few times a week. This place has been so helpful.

I can not wait to park my PT in the lot of the firm I work in. Everyone there has serious looking black cars so I can't wait to brighten up the place with my cute PT.

Welcome to the Club, LawChick! I'm fairly new, myself......but so glad to finally have the car I've wanted, for so long!
I always wave, though I've been thinking about doing the headlight blink, instead. A few have waved back, some don't know why I'm waving, seems like.
