Default Nice Compliment....ss

Well yesterday on a nice sunny hot Saturday I was parked at the local mall while my wife ran into the bank....a red Acura sedan pulled up in the spot beside me. The driver a man in his 60's I would say stated" I just wanted to show my mom your car....It's Gorgeous!!!!" His mother looked like she was in her 80's or 90's. The man asked what year is it?I replied a 03...His mother questioned" a 1903???" I said nope....they didn't make them that year. The man said I have never seen one like it before...Is it a custom paint job???I said no it is factory. He said boy is it beautiful...You must have 15 coats of wax on it......look at that shine!!!!I said yeah it gets waxed quite a bit!.....I thanked him very much....as they drove away and turned past the front of my car....I heard him say to his mother "Look at the shine on that thing!!!"......................................... .................................................. .................................It sure made me feel good. In fact I got home and someone else stopped just as I pulled into my driveway and said " It sure is pretty!Nice colour! I got a big truck I will bring over if you have a chance to shine it up tooo"............................................. .................................................. ...........It is almost everyday that someone looks or comments on my car..............I passed a school bus the other day and a bunch of kids on a summer camp were yelling " Awesome car" out the window............................................ ............Sure makes a guy feel good.

I've had lots and lots of cars in my almost 48 years, got my license in Texas at 14 (yes, farmer's license). I've had sports cars, muscle cars, big SUV's (traded the Navigassor for the Aspen Hemi - have it now), family cars, convertibles, etc.

Out of all the cars I've owned, I've never, EVER, had anyone really remark about my car to me. That was before the PT. Now, it's getting to the point where sometimes I'm a bit embarrassed. I work with T-Mobile here in Charlotte, and their offices are next to South Park, a fairly hoity-toity mall area with lots of wealthy people around there. I go to lunch very frequently with the customer and they are always teasing me about my "Pre-Teen" Cruiser, then we'll be going into a restaurant for lunch and some cute chiquita will come walking by and say, "oh, such a cute car". Damn things nearly as good as having a dog with you! lol... anyway, I can't help but grin when someone says that then slides behind the wheel of her Mercedes....lmao...

When I first got my PT, there were only about 2-3 in town. It sure turned a lot of heads. Then I added my flames and it really attracted attention. I've had people on the interstate pass me and take pictures (I'm sure they were taking pictures of the car and not me). My son drives my PT now and I still think its the best lookin' little car I've ever owned.

Thanx guys...I just got back from supper with the neighbors and they were all commenting that they should park on my driveway as I have the cleanest cars on the block
