Default Air box

I know this is lame, but what holds the airbox in? I messed with it awhile ago and damned if I can figure it out. I don't have a manual yet so I didn't want to jerk and yank and break something. I had the hose disconnected and the top off. Seems like something else is holding it in. I need to get to the batter hold down and the ground cable for the battery. Thanks ..

There are two "pegs" on the bottom of the box. A couple of jerks upward and it will come up. They are just stuck in a couple of rubber grommets, make sure that they both come up at the same time. My grand daughters had one post broken off when we got hers.

Hey their ejstith,

ANd then along with pegs at the bottom, their is supposed to be two clips on the front of the air box which clamp down the top half to the bottom half. I unfortunettly lost one of mine a long time ago, but here is a pic of one on mine. Please excuse the dirt. For those of the PT People who know me around here, I am pretty up on trying to keep my PT a bit cleaner than htis so this pic is a bit embarrassing, but in my defense it had been sitting in my friends body shop for three months collecting a ton of sanding dust while I was working on it in between other projects . Anyways, here is the pick just in case you were looking for these instead of the pegs underneath the box.

If you have any more questions, please let me know.

Go easy, and Ill catch ya later.

Thanks guys. I was just afraid I'd break something, would be my luck .. I had the top off and the filter out already. I assume that cold air tube just slides out the side ?? Thanks again .. I
