Default New Multifunction Switch but still no indicators/hazards. Please help!

Good evening. I'm currently having a bit of trouble and I thought someone may be able to help.

I've had a search through the forums and firstly tracked down my non-functioning indicators/hazards were probably down to a faulty multifunction switch as both the fuses are OK. I purchased a new indicator/wiper setup, albeit from a mk2 neon, but was assured by Chrysler is was the same. But I still havnt got function of my indicators/hazards. All of the lights light-up when I lock/un-lock the car, so I guess the fuses are good.

Also, only the rear fog light functions, the fronts DO NOT.

Could anyone shed any light on this?

Many thanks in advance,

Kind regards,
Liam

There's a "module" (relay) that clips on the switch. Compare old and new switches - often new switch doesn't come with relay, you have to move it from old to new.

All the bulbs - front & back - have 2 filaments - the signal is a separate filament from the "blink" when you unlock - might still be a fuse, so check - I'd start with fuse panel underhood by battery.

Thankyou, again.

I've replaced/swapped both the relavant fuses both in the engine bay and under the steering coloumn. Also, did notice that the bulbs have double filiments but read through the owners manual and it stated there would be a light displayed on the dash if a bulb had broken/blown.

Not a sign of this, so assume all bulbs are OK.

Also, just a thought, when the old multifunction switch blew it has 'melted' the connection block to the switch slightly, although all of the exiting wires are fine, not sign of excessive heat on the wires, only the connector.

Thankyou
