Help needed! Can't Locate Engine Number

Default Help needed! Can't Locate Engine Number


I live in the UK and i have been asked to locate the engine number on my 02 PT, i know its on the front of the engine block as i've read on the internet, but still cant find it. Can any1 give me some better guidence please.

I'm assuming a parts dealer needs this number for some reason. Is it possible to take the VIN number to a dealer and they may be able to tell you. IDK!!!
