When I started this thread, I washed the car in the rain so I could bring it into the carport and wax it. I did that and it has not stopped raining since.

I've always been of the opinion that a good coat of paste wax sheds not only water but the dirt and grit that come with it. Boy was I right. When I pull her into the carport and all the water rolls off, she still looks great.

I know I'll need a good wash when the sun finally comes out but it should be a lot easier.

Hey Santaguy thats sure true, have you ever used rainx on the glass on your car that really makes the water roll off and great for driving in the rain.

Well I have washed my car in the rain before. so Today I decided I would put in my Redneck Ram Air Intake system, The clouds were looking kinda gray, but I figured hey its Oregon It never ever rains here. (just kidding. it rains during summer. lol) so I go outside lift the hood unhook my intake and then.... It starts pouring. I don't mean like regular pouring. I mean as soon as you open your door you're soaked pouring. So I organized everything really quickly shut the hood and ran inside. I was already soaked. The storm took about 10 mins to get over with. And now we are having extremly nice weather. lol. not a cloud in sight. well that might be because its night time.... but earlier there wasn't any clouds. so I went cruisen.
