Go online find what you would like to have, think about it then go shopping at a Lowe's,Homedepot,or local hardware store. Just walk around and look keepimg in mind your project.....OK here's one ,i orderd a wood dash kit installed it looked good. Then looking at other accessorie sites i found nice chrome door sills .Would be nice if they had a wood type too match the new dash. HEY we carry peel and stick vinyl flooring strips that look like wood.

Hey Guys,

First off, again thank you Ratdaddy I have been really curious about that BBQ Mod for a long time but the pics were down. That, and your custom wood Laminate sill plates look way, way cool, and even more so, they won't break the bank.

Way cool work their Ratsassy, and if you any more of your ultra cool ideas, please feel free to post them anytime.

Hey William_F,

Bring er on! I really kinda prefer fat wallets myself, and brief cases are even better!

Naw, I am the Dream Maker. Whatever you can dream up, no matter what, I can for sure design it, and whatever I can't handle,I got lots of good close friends in low places that can handle whatever is throw their way, and whatever I put my name on is guaranteed to bet 100% done right the first time, and to my standards of it doesn't go out! You just send me a key and address and it will just be gone in the middle of the night, and suddenly show up all pimped to perfection in around 3 4 weeks. Oh and I almost forgot, just leave that fat wallet in the glove box with a card attatched that says To Candyman

Go easy, and I will catch ya later.

1/2 in. Chrome Bolt covers - 10.00
Redliner 3M tape - 4.00

Custom AC vent knobs.
The beauty of this project is that you can get any style of bolt covers..anodized.colored...I've even seen some online that have skulls and flames on them. I used the O ring style

the center knob is the smaller one of the two that is where the 3m tape came in..the vent on/off vent knob is larger..that you can simply push that into the bolt cover and it will stay snug..I used a pair of pliers and a cloth so not to ruin the finish.

the Radio knob I used a chrome air filter knob...this one was a little more involved but I finally got it to stay put and look good as well.

Well, one of my other hobbies is leather crafting, so I'm sure I can get you a fat wallet and a matching briefcase in just about any size/color you'd like. I don't think that would even begin to cover the amount of work I want done, but if you think it's a fair trade I'm in!

Hey Captcueball, that's a killer idea on the knobs! A set of something similiar sells for over $85 on many of the accessory sites. The savings on your approach is enough to pay for the chrome vent covers and have money left over.

Did those bolt caps slip over the existing knobs? I'm not sure I follow what you did with the tape.

the bolt covers are 1/2 inch ones.
the directional vent knob (the one in the center) is smaller than the on/off vent knob (the one at the bottom of the vent)

to keep the bolt cover on the smaller knob all you use is a little square of the 3m tape on the head of the plastic knob..the 3m stuff is great and holds up well to the cold/hot temp.

the bolt cover fits sung on the larger knob (the on/off knob) I used a pair of pliers and a cloth to squeeze the cover on to the knob.

I ended up using two kits to cover all 8 knobs...I have four left over..I plan to drill holes thru the center of the extra four and use them on the headrest posts
