Default How to remove the driver side half shaft?

What's the secret for getting the driver side half shaft out of the transmission? There's not much room to get a tool into the space between the drive axle and the edge of the transmission because it's recessed.
I'm trying to replace the axle seal in the tranny....and had no problems with the passenger side because there was more room.

Thanks guys!

A large screwdriver and a hammer did the trick. There's not much of a place to locate the screwdriver....but found an ridge on the CV axle next to the tranny that I could get some good pressure. A couple pops from the hammer and it was out of the tranny. Was actually surprised. Installation was more difficult than getting it out.

Thought I'd post this for another new member encountering this problem for the first time.

Thanks for posting the solution for a problem, not many do.

How about posting where you are located.
