Default What does this do?

What is the function of the button? I drove a few GT's that I've been considering and have yet to remember to see what it does.

Cool Re: What does this do?

I've got a 2006 GT Vert, and do not have that button.
I have electric up/down, and forward/back only button.
It might be the lumbar support.

It's on my 2001. It raises the drives seat up and down. It's the only electrical movement on the seat. Forward backward is done manually, but I see the up and down electrical connection on your picture is at the front of the seat. They must have moved that function in later years. So, why the two different switches ????

The switch at the forward top position below the seat cusion should be for the seat heater. I have a 2002 Dream Cruiser and I have that switch. Good luck, Tommy.

So I guess you haven't tried it??? That is the electric seat (up/down only), which is not much good unless you're a midget (no offense); the one at the front is a bun warmer - I've driven to work with just that on and was very comfortable, nice.

I wish there was a way to lower the seat frame, so the electric adjustment could do something; but as it is (even with my 5'7" height), it's not much use and stays all the way down. Wonder if the later models had a four or six-way that would fit???

Seriously, that's the power up/down button; mine, at least, only seems able to raise the seat if there's nobody actually IN the seat --- can't seem to lift itself AND a person at the same time. (And yeah, the bun warmer sure is wonderful, ain't it?!?)

Glad to see RatDaddy you haven't lost your sense of humor!

And yes its the height adjustment switch..

I love it I drop the seat when I borrow mom's car and I used to raise the seat up a bit when I would borrow LiquidPT's car.. My two PT's it was not an option.. Go figure.. I never had a problem with the seat height in my cars..

My personal thanks to veteran and novice crewbies that have offered information and how-to's they have been instrumental in taking LiquidPT from modded car to stock to live a more quiet and sedate life.

Our 2002 Touring did not have it. Our 2004 Limited does. The 2004 also has a moon roof. The seat, even at its lowest is higher than the passenger seat. That with the moon roof limits the head room. I wish I did not have the power seat.
