try what the board said, about how to bring up check engine code,didn't work turn key 3 times to winsheild,in 5 sec without starting car,nothing, tried 3 times turned key until dash board lights came on, with out starting, and also turn key til just before dash board lights came, neither worked no codes or "done" what am i doing wrong?i tried it on both my cars a 2007 and a 2001,neither worked,anyone have any ideas???????????????

ok got it to work got codes p1682 and p0700, how do i find out what they are?
