Took it in to get looked over and like in the other thread the wheel bearings needed to be replaced BUT there were other problems. basically 2600 bucks worth of stuff and well thats more than the cruiser is worth.

shell either be traded in or sold in the next month to help my girlfriend get her 370z. ill still hang around the forum though

If you took it to a dealer you'll get ripped. How about an independent shop?

it was a local shop and id do it but its beyond my abilities. heres the quote they gave me:

Front wheel hub assembly
install front wheel hub bearings
wheel alignment
valve cover gasket
install valve cover gasket
spark plugs
ignition wires
install of plugs and wires
install kit tensioner and water pump
a/c evacuation and recharge labor
timing belt
cam pully
cam tensioner
water pump
shop supplies

some of it i could do but would be pointless because it would have to be done together with other stuff. for parts 1,072.24 and for labor 1,461.40 and 67.02 for tax and a grand total of 2,600.66 even for the parts alone its not worth it. atleast to me. shes already got really bad hail damage and its scratched up pretty good with a decent sized dent in the side where my girlfriend ran into a poll hahahaha
