Default Difference between High Output

Hey Folks;

I may have found a 2003 GT that interests me, however it is a GT 100 percent sure of that, but it only say 2.4L Turbo on the lift gate it doesnt say HIGH OUTPUT....

What gives?

Thanks in advance.

Brett

5 less hp than the '04. Big whoop. In '04 they went with the stage 1 injectors.

They are advertising it at 215 horsepower... is that accurate?

Thanks

Correct. 2004 = 220hp. Most of 2005 = 220hp with the latter half of '05 getting the plastic manifold bumping hp to 230hp. 2006 on up = 230hp.

It's because in 2003, they only made 1 turbo - the high output w/215 HP.
In 2004, they added a low pressure turbo good for 180HP and from 2004 on the GT emblem says High Output.

So the only difference in the 05 models of the 220 and 230 hp is the plastic manifold? Is that the only thing that's different? Mine is a GT 2005 with the metal.
