Default Crap my HORN died!

*sigh* My Horn died.... it went trough a flooded street and I think my horn just died.... *sigh* Another thing that needs to be fixed on my PT. I think it needs to be fixed... how long does it take for a car HORN to get fixed. So what type of horn could I put on my PT? I never really cared for the horn it had.... I kind want to put a roadster horn. Or one of those old AWOOOOOGA horns... but where to get the horn?

Where to get the ...what?

The horns can be bought at any auto store. You can replace the stock horn with any aftermarket horn or there's a couple places to put a horn in the engine compartment. You can use the original horn button on the steering column on put a button on the dash.

Cool Re: Crap my HORN died!

I see the loss as an opportunity to "customize"!
I was disappointed at the one, low tone only. So, I bought the "Highway Blaster" high tone at Autozone, and added that to the low tone.
Now I've got a real horns!
If my low tone had died, I would have bought something unique!

Some sirens are only used for Emergency Vehicles!! Best check your state laws.

Got mine out of a Mercedes 450 SEL in a wrecking yard. Melodious, sufficiently loud, and certainly unexpected. Cheap as well.

I picked up my Aoogah horn at AdvanceAuto for $30, took it off my '02 and now have it in my '05.
