Exclamation NISSAN RULES!!!!...Chrysler needs to learn from them

me - '06 PT (base)
wife - '07 Nissan Altima 2.5SL

Just found out and confirmed that Nissan went out of thier way and DOUBLED their warranty on their CVT transmissions for free.
from 5yr/60K to 10 YEARS-120,000K Miles....WOWOWOOWOWOOWOW!!!

You'd think Chrysler would see this and correct the warranty on 2006 Chrysler cars. '01 - '05 PT 7yr/70K - 2006 3yr/36K - '07+ unlimited. WTF!!!

Mechanically PT's are virtually unchanged since they came out in '01. Why not adjust the '06 to at least 7yr/70K????

I researched everything about PT's before I bought one used and assumed it had the 7/70. Ugh... I even called Chrysler and explained the inconsistancy in their warranties and they could care less.

KUDOS to Nissan for stepping up in these poor economic times!!!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who bought a '06 used and didn't realize that 2006 is the oddball year. But this ASS just got his warranty doubled on his Nissan for free!!!

My 08 is the 3 yr/36k basic warranty because... the lifetime powertrain isn't transferable to a second owner but the basic is.
