Welcome to the forum. Your problem is most likely the multi-function switch (stalk). the stalk on your steering column that controls the lights, fog lights, turn signals etc. They are know to burn out. Usually when it burns out the owners find that they can't turn off the fog lights and the battery goes dead or they pull the No#8 fuse in the interior fuse compartment. The stalk is easy to replace (about $75) but hard to find as there's a back order for them.

Mine was not working when I first bought mine. The switch on the steering coluum is easy to replace..Two torx's screw on the underside to pop off the cover. then two more screws that hold it on the mulitiswitch. Then the wire plugs on the switch.

Cool Re: new to pts

Welcome!
After checking the MFS...
Any chance that you've had the computer reflashed, or replaced lately?
I'd have a dealer also check to sure the computer recognizes the fogs (especially if they are "aftermarket")
(also remember, the fogs go "off", if the headlbeams are on high)

Ditto what Sooner said. Sometimes the stealerships will reflash your PCM when working ont he car to clear a serious error, then they "forget" to re-initialize all the proper options.

I think it's the MFS though, mine went out at 22k miles then again at 36k. Easy to replace.
