Well apparently the jerk driving owns a company that restores luxury cars. Hopefully he had restored it for a customer and was testing it when he was distracted by the "low flying pelican" and now he'll get his tail sued for being an idiot.

So is it even *possible* to restore a car that's been submerged in salt water like that? I imagine the longer it's in, the worse it would be; but would it be restorable --- with a boatload of money, of course --- after less than a day in the drink? I'd guess the upholstery is a goner, but how 'bout the engine? The body?
