HELLO EVERYBODY:
Can somebody help, I went to the Gas Station last night and accidentally I disconnected the OBD Port with my foot. The wont start, there is power everywhere but the stiring wheel and brake are lock. I think the antitheft alarm went on but I dont know how to reset it.. PT Cruiser 2001 |

How you managed to disconnect the OBD port is beyond me. It's way up there under the fuse box. The steering is only supposed to lock if you turn the wheel 180 degrees and take the key out, then turn the wheel 1/4 turn in either direction. It locks the wheel in a turning direction so supposed ly even if someone starts the car it will only go round in circles. Not sure about the brakes locking up.
To unlock the wheel, insert the key, turn the wheel 1/4 turn in any direction until the key turns toward the windshield and then you should be able to start the engine. Good luck.
