I bought a 2010 last week. There is a $2k incentive or 0 percent financing in my area.

It was a rainy day when we picked up the car.
The good: Standard equipment includes 4 wheel disk brakes with ABS and traction control. Satellite radio free for a year now standard. It seems to handle and track better on the road than my 2006 Touring Edition (totaled). Not so good. no glove box lock stubby power window switches the power plug inside the center console was deleted. The speakers suck. (at least for the base factory radio) |

The entire family likes it alot. No complaints except for the speakers which I replaced last Friday with 6 3/4 inch 4 way Pioneer speakers. It fits our needs as a reasonable priced car for my daughter (she easily got 25 mpg out of the 2006 on the highway) and the ability to drop/remove the rear seats for Home Depot runs on the weekend. It works for us. So many blogs pan the PT as a burnt out has been. It does what we want at the right price with neat retro exterior styling. If I wanted a fire breather I would be looking at Vipers. We went for another PT because the 2006 PT protected her during the accident. She was stopped in traffic waiting for a light to change when a box truck plowed into the back of our 2006 TE and pushed her into the rear of a dump truck. No cabin intrusion. Hated to loose it with only 21,000 on the odometer.

How do they expect to sell many without at least a turbo lite option? I know they dropped the GT and 'vert, but the turbo lite, too?
I like the Lite - regular gas and better mileage (only a couple MPG, but still...) than my '02.
