Hahaha, a couple funny snow stories (not about cars, though) for you guys!

My friend's roommate once came pounding down the stairs here in Atlanta and flew out the front door yelling about snow. Then she came flying back in going IT'S COLD!!!?? in this incredulous voice. He was like, well, yeah - it's snow! and she legit was like I DIDN'T KNOW THAT! I'M FROM FL! Haha, he was like, uhhh, in the movies when it snows, didn't you ever notice people were wearing hats and coats?!

Also, when he was a kid, every year he'd set up the Sears catalog for his parents to see how badly he wanted a snowmobile. A few times he even said he didn't have to get any other presents, just his beloved snowmobile. Finally, when he was 11, his dad was like RUSS, WE LIVE IN MS. EVEN IF WE GET YOU THE DAMNED THING, YOU'LL NEVER GET TO RIDE IT! Hahaha, sad!

Last year when he moved to Kansas City and it snowed, he ran out and did snow angels for like an hour! When his gf (who has lived there for years) made fun of him, he was like, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK! I FINALLY HAVE REAL SNOW!!!

Stupid isn't restricted to one state...

I had a roomate from Florida in college upstate New York - it got to -25 F - he was fascinated. He took a towel, dripping wet, hung it out the window, then took it in, stiff as a board, and was whacking the cinderblock walls with it - I told him not to, that the towel will look like a dog fought with it - I was right, of course. He was far from an idiot...

Haha! What a weenie!

I'm originally from Poughkeepsie and when I was a kid, my mom (who is super southern) would yell at me for going out in the snow in shorts and a t-shirt. Now I will probably be like BURN ALL THE FURNITURE IF YOU HAVE TO! D: when I go to NYC next week since I've been down here so long.

I have a group of friends that come from all over Michigan to go camping in the snow the first weekend of Feburary every year. It started 18 years ago as a way to get all of our friends to meet up at least once a year for some fun in the snow. We have had everything from 40 degrees to the coldest was -25 at night and 0 degrees F for a high for the day. They say your not suppose to drink alcohol out in the cold but it sure helps. The one weekend we had to keep beer in the cooler to keep it warm enough so it wouldn't freeze solid and blow up the cans. Or it was at the temp where as soon as you opened it up it would turn to slush.....Guess that's why we always had big campfires. lol

Haha, one morning I woke up to find my freezer had this gross yellow slushy coating and was really confused. My husband later told me he and our friend, in a slightly drunken state, had the brilliant idea of beer slushies and stuck some bottles in to get cold. Uh, I think you can figure out how that ended! (and if you can't, it was with me laughing while they cleaned my freezer!)
