Central locking & Airbag problems can anyone help pls ?

Hi Guys,
I have just purchased a black pt cruiser CRD , It has a problem with the central locking, it works if i use the key on the drivers door, but only works from the remote control fob on the back doors and boot if i press it twice, this just locks and opens the back doors. If press it once like it advises for the front door operationan both the front doors remain locked or open, any pointers ????

Also my airbag light keeps coming on and beeping intermitantly when i go over a bump or round a corner, obviously a loose connection somewhere, any ideas where to look

You're overseas - where? UK? We don't get CRD here....
Peculiar BOTH front doors don't work - the standard setup is one click is for driver's door, two clicks is all doors - BUT that's programmable so one click can open all doors - look in the user manual and try that...

As to airbags - do a search here - "airbag" - some have found a connector uner the seat at fault.

i have a 2002 crd
i had problems with my remote locking ended up going to dealer and getting new fobs
also for some odd reason there is no swicth on the passenger door lock to operate the central locking thay are just on the drivers door and boot lid
and the locking works by press unlock once it opens drivers door and a second time opens the other doors
and when locking pressing the lock button a second time will dead lock the doors

it confused me when i first got my pt
